This Routemaster turned up in 1987 for an Art Exhibition called the best of British, in which British icons were displayed.Not surprisingly a Routemaster was included in the Exhibition. It is seen in Middlesbrough. (J.Walker/500 Group)

This is the Prototype Metrocar on the Test Track at Middle Engine Lane, (now the Stephenson Railway Museum). the two prototype cars 4001/2 differed slightly from the rest in that they had a centre door on the front end. This feature was dispensed with before entry into service.

The Tyne and Wear Metro
This view was taken in April 1988 at Stockton Depot, and shows 417DCD as it still was then, when it was first acquired. It is seen in the company of a pair of the famous re-bodied 1970 Atlanteans.

500 BUS (PRX189B) Transit's Former Southdown Queen Mary.
N746YAJ is now seen in it's revised livery at Preston Park in 2005.
